What is VirginiaREIA?
VirginiaREIA is an organization that acts as a resource for Virginia's regional real estate investment associations, local interest groups, and property passionate people to offer resources and support regarding industry information, legislation, education, research, communication and technical expertise.
Who is a VirginiaREIA Real Estate Investor?
VirginiaREIA believes that anyone who invests their time, energy and/or funds to real estate, whether to learn more about the industry or to actually put together a real estate transaction, qualifies to be a VirginiaREIA Real Estate Investor, so long as they do so ethically & professionally, and in accordance with the VirginiaREIA Code of Ethics, as set forth by the VirginiaREIA Advisory Board of Industry Leaders.

Our History
VirginiaREIA began in 2007 as a reply to the growing concern investors felt over the fate of real estate investing in Virginia. This concern was due to the unprecedented and unmerited legislative, legal & media threats received from citizens outraged by the volume of distressed property owners finding themselves in situations ideal for savvy investors. Unfortunately, such a market was also prime for "investors" with unscrupulous and unethical business practices who only aided in furthering the backlash. Thus was born the need for honest, ethical, and wise investors to distinguish themselves, united throughout the state, and thus was formed VirginiaREIA.
Since then, VirginiaREIA has allied itself with key industry leaders and associations throughout the state and established itself as the medium for real estate passionate individuals to turn to in order to ally themselves with the proper associations and further their investment needs.
Today, VirginiaREIA continues to be the glue that unifies our investors and represents the professionals of real estate investing. We welcome you.
